I am a „Doer“. I find it hard to sit down and do nothing. I always find something that still needs to be done. I do know times of rest, breaks, where I can rest from my work, of course – but those times sometimes feel like a waste of time to me.
Four weeks ago I started my maternity leave from work, which is 6 weeks prior to birth in Germany. Sometimes I was wondering what I would do with all that time. Of course there were things to do around the house – things I wanted to get sorted and stuff I wanted to clean. But the point came when all of my scheduled projects where done. Getting stuff done was getting more and more difficult with my belly growing. One day I sat on the couch and felt so very lazy and then God’s spirit spoke to me, using the words from Hebrews 4:10-11:
“Anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest…”
He showed me clearly that I can enjoy this time of rest as something very special. Yes, it’s kind of like “the stillness before the storm”. However, I get to learn a whole new kind of “rest in HIS presence” during this special time. I greatly enjoy those moments with Him, recognize Him more clearly. This encourages me a lot to soak up new strength from these times of rest; knowing where the fountain is. Just as it is written in John 7:38:
“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
I get to drink from the eternal fountain and get refreshed. I want to speak that over your life, too. Let Jesus refresh you. You also will find places or times in your daily life where you can simply rest at His heart, where you can relax and be filled with the refreshing, living water that’s flowing from Him.
„The peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4,7)
Every now and then there are situations in life that steal the peace inside us. Do you experience that, too? Or is it just me? Situations where we react totally unspiritual even though we should know better. Situations where we feel so helpless and alone.
Recently I had such an experience. Over quite some time I had lots of problems with one tooth, after all a root canal treatment had to be done and even that did not really work out the way it is supposed to be. So I was sent to an Oral Surgeon, to cut off the root ends. I must confess I am NOT at all a Fan of Visits at the Dentist and now that … I was quite nervous. Due to several circumstances the surgery date had to be postponed. That did not really fill me with more anticipation for the upcoming surgery. The morning of the surgery I could sense how anxiety rose inside of me.
I did pray that God would be with me and take away my fear, but suddenly I realized, I had not taken over authority over those feelings of fear, authority I have through Christ Jesus. The above verse came to my mind. I spoke by faith and asked the Holy Spirit to fill my heart with His peace. I gave Him all fears and anxiety and trusted Him fully. It was amazing – minutes later I was totally at peace. I sensed how the Holy Spirit filled me and washed away all fear. When the time of the surgery got closer I was SO at peace. Wow! That was quite a lesson for me! I felt HIS presence during the entire surgery and knew I am comforted in HIM. The surgery went really well, there were no complications at all. I am so thankful to my heavenly Daddy for that and also for this “real life” lesson.
Try it out! You will experience that, too. Hand over to God situations that you can’t handle, he will take your hand and guide you through the fog into His glorious light. He is faithful to His promises!
„O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done wonderful things…
Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.” (Psalm 98,1.4)
This verse literally hit me the other day. We are very good in singing God the songs we know, the songs that are written down on paper, in songbooks, in hymn books,… we stick to what is written down, some of us sing louder, others prefer not to sing, because someone might have said “You can’t sing”. But what does this scripture tell us?! Right! It is talking about a NEW song! What is a new song? Right! One that has never been there before. You might say, “I am not a singer. I am not a Poet, I am not a writer, etc.” Guess what, the least of us are, BUT, our heavenly Papa LOVES our worship, He loves when we sing to Him our praises, when we love on HIM with our voices, when we thank Him for who He is and what He has done for us.
There are Millions of songs, melodies, rhythms, symphonies in heaven that are just waiting to be downloaded to earth. We are the vessels God wants to use to bring this NEW song, this new sound, the very sound of HEAVEN to earth.
You don’t have to be a perfect singer to sing, all you have to be is an extravagant lover of the most amazing God! I greatly encourage you, just look to Papa God, see His beauty, open your mouth (don’t be ashamed!!!) and let it flow, in the beginning it might sound funny, just let it flow. It’s just like with everything, we learn and grow as we practice …. Start right now. Sing to HIM a new song!
I have so many stories when God invaded my simple worship, I start singing in tongues and soon after words and melodies fill my spirit that are just so heavenly. I LOVE those moments when He invades my worship. When we sing to Him that new song, we often times even prophesy into out very life situations, calling forth the things He already has ready to bless us with. As we sing it out, we release it. Don’t you want ALL HE has for you?!

It’s Pentecost. I remember always wondering what Pentecost is anyways as a kid. When I finally understood it I found it interesting how those “little flames” came on everybody’s heads in the upper room, back on that first Pentecost. And guess what there was no difference between male & female – no pink and blue flames – they were all the same and the Holy Spirit fell on ALL flesh in the same way! This just causes a loud shout of HALLELUJAH right from my spirit. God makes NO difference between Men and Women. We are ALL called by HIS spirit! Wow!
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Acts 2,1-4
I have been pondering about Jesus disciples the past few days. Have you ever thought about all the things they had to “digest” in those few days. Their beloved Jesus, the Man that taught them EVERYTHING was put to death in the cruelest way ever, they put Him in a grave and while they were still mourning in the Upper Room, Mary came rushing in with the news that an Angel had appeared to her, to tell her that Jesus was resurrected, that He was gone from the grave…Peter rushed there to see it with his own eyes, I guess I would have been doubting what Mary said just like Thomas…. And then while they were walking along the road to Emmaus, chatting away about all that happened in the past days, suddenly Jesus was there with them. I would have been rather confused, I tell you! Can you imagine that? Jesus was with them on the road, then He even ate with them at the Lake …have you ever wondered where that fish went in His resurrected body?!
And then He gave them a big commissioning before he ascended – look it up in Mark 16. Gosh! He even said that His disciples – and us also – would do even greater things than He did?! Jesus! You did the most amazing things ever! How could we do even greater things? We are just Human beings! Wait! Jesus told them to WAIT – He promised them that He was gonna send them the Helper, the Holy Spirit! They didn’t have to do all that from their own strength, that would be impossible anyways. He was gonna send them HIS power through the Holy Spirit. He told them to wait!
Have you ever wondered what the Disciples felt like in those days? They waited in the Upper Room. They knew that Jesus’ promises are true, they got to witness it SO many times. But what if…..?! How long would they have to wait for? What would that Helper look like? How was he gonna come to them? Lots of questions! How would He recognize them? I know, I would have had SO many questions….and Jesus was gone, they could not ask Him anymore. They had to wait….patiently for His promise to be fulfilled.
How are you feeling when God promised you something and you are still waiting for this promise to be fulfilled? Do you trust Him? Are you full of “when?” and “Why do I have to wait to so long?” questions? Believe me, I am SO with you!
You have to be very desperate to trust HIM that He will fulfill ALL that He has promised. He IS faithful, that’s for sure. So, please trust HIM, HE will never let you down nor leave you, HIS word is true and HE will come through with the Promise HE has given you for your life!
I guess the disciples where very surprised with the way the Holy Spirit fell on them. He LOVES to surprise us!
Please, don’t put Him in a box of how you want Him to bless you. Allow Him to bless and fill you the way He wants to, that’s SO much better than our little thinking can imagine! He is BIG and His ideas are plentiful.
Be desperate for HIM, be desperate for ALL He has for you. Let Him fill and refresh you over and over again!
“How blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart are the highways to Zion! Passing through the valley of Tears they make it a spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings. They go from strength to strength, Every one of them appears before God in Zion.

A couple of years ago I was part of a Gospel Choir project. It was a wonderful time, yet during this time I discovered some weird symptoms on my body. I ignored them for a while, praying that God would take them away but they increased, during this one rehearsal I was so afraid, I finally scheduled an appointment at my Doctors. I am thankful to have a Doctor who believes in God and first of all honors God as Jahwe Rapha – the Lord who heals. As I was driving to this appointment together with my Mom, we were praying in the Car desperately, expecting God to touch me. I explained the Doctor my symptoms, he listened carefully and scheduled a Cat scan, before going there he said “Lets pray together”. So we welcomed Gods presence there and asked God for HIS wisdom. The Doctor felt, he should anoint me with Oil according to James 5,14-15
“Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.”
The presence of God was very strong there and after that anointing I left for the scheduled Cat scan. During this check up I saw Jesus sitting beside me, holding my hand, and angels walking up and down the room worshipping and proclaiming life over my body, I was not afraid, knowing that HEAVEN invaded that room and was there with me!
The results of the Cat scan indicated a sickness that’s been in our family line and that is “incurable” and would get worse over the years. That was a shock, of course, why would God allow me – his child – to get that? I was going through a serious time of suffering, questioning, brokenness yet HOLDING on to the promises of God, that he IS the healer and that there IS Power in the Name of Jesus. I am thankful for my Family and amazing brothers and sisters that lifted me up in this time of pain, suffering, despair. God showed my Doctor a way of treatment that was “unusual” but clearly what GOD said, he should do. So along with lots of prayer, looking to God for HIM to touch me with healing we started this treatment. It was a long and draining process but after all God healed me.
You might say, “Great, you got healed, but why am I suffering from this or that sickness? Why is my family broken? Why am I experiencing so much pain and sorrow?” I certainly wish we wouldn’t have to go through all this, but one thing I know, our God is greater. We live in this fallen world that in so many ways does not do the things God originally planned, because of that – even though we are children of God and are protected by the blood of Jesus – we do experience the causes of the fallen world. One thing I know, the processes we all have to go through strengthen us to hold on to God, they teach us and even though we don’t feel like it when we are in the middle of the battle, we become a blessing for others who may go through similar things. Think about a diamond, it is made under immense pressure, and look how beautiful it is. God sees the diamond, the treasure in us. Our life is a message to this world, everyone digests pressure differently. Let me encourage you, hold on to GOD no matter what you are facing right now. Trust HIS word. Allow HIM to carry you when you have no strength anymore to walk, allow him to hold you, to touch you. Look into his beautiful eyes and ask HIM how he will glorify himself in your time of trial and testing. HE will never let you down! He is right there with you in your valley of tears. You are NOT alone!

Vor einigen Jahren war ich Teil eines Gospelchorprojektes. Es war eine wunderbare Zeit, während dieser Zeit jedoch bemerkte ich einige merkwürdige Symptome an meinem Körper. Ich ignorierte sie eine Weile, betete, dass Gott sie wegnimmt, aber sie wurden stärker. Während dieser einen Probe hatte ich solche Angst, was mich endlich dazu brachte, einen Termin bei meinem Arzt zu vereinbaren. Ich bin dankbar einen Arzt zu haben, der gläubig ist und vor allem anderen Gott als Jahwe Rapha – der Gott der heilt – ehrt. Als ich zusammen mit meiner Mutter zu diesem Termin fuhr, beteten wir inständig und erwarteten und glaubten, dass Gott mich berührt. Ich erklärte dem Arzt die Symptome, er hörte aufmerksam zu und setzte ein CT an. Ehe ich dorthin fuhr, sagte er „Lass und zusammen beten.“ Wir luden Gottes Gegenwart ein und baten Gott um Weisheit. Der Arzt spürte, dass er mich mit Öl salben soll gemäß Jakobus 5,14-15.
„Ist jemand von euch krank? Er soll die Ältesten der Gemeinde zu sich rufen lassen; und sie sollen für ihn beten und ihn dabei mit Öl salben im Namen des Herrn. Und das Gebet des Glaubens wird den Kranken retten, und der Herr wird ihn aufrichten; und wenn er Sünden begangen hat, so wird ihm vergeben werden.“
Die Gegenwart Gottes war sehr stark da und nach dieser Salbung fuhr ich in die Klinik zum CT. Während ich auf dem Untersuchungstisch lag, sah ich Jesus, der neben mir saß und meine Hand hielt. Ich sah Engel, die im Raum auf und ab gingen, lobpreisten und Leben über meinem Körper proklamierten. Ich hatte keine Angst, ich wusste dass der Himmel den Raum erfüllt hatte und dort mit mir war!
Das Ergebnis des CT wies auf eine Krankheit hin, die es in unserer Familie schon einmal gab, als unheilbar gilt und über die Jahre immer schlimmer wird. Das war natürlich ein gewaltiger Schock, warum würde Gott mir – seinem Kind – erlauben so etwas zu bekommen? Ich ging durch eine ernste Zeit des Leids, des Fragens, des Zerbruchs und dennoch HIELT ich an den Verheißungen Gottes fest, dass ER mein Heiler ist und Kraft liegt im Namen JESU. Ich bin dankbar für meine Familie und einige ganz kostbare Brüder und Schwestern, die mich im Gebet getragen haben in dieser Zeit des Schmerzes, des Leids, der Hoffnungslosigkeit. Gott zeigte meinem Arzt eine Behandlungsart die „ungewöhnlich“ war, jedoch genau das, was Gott gebrauchen wollte. Verbunden mit viel Gebet, dem ständigen auf Gott schauen, dass ER mich mit Heilung berührt, begann diese Behandlung. Es war ein langer, ermüdender Prozess, aber Gott drang durch mit SEINER Kraft und heilte mich.
Vielleicht sagst du, „Toll, du wurdest geheilt, aber warum leide ich unter dieser oder jener Krankheit? Warum ist meine Familie zerbrochen? Warum erlebe ich so viel Schmerz und Leid?“ Ich wünsche mir genauso wie du, dass wir all das nicht erleben müssen, aber eins weiß ich ganz sicher, unser Gott ist größer! Wir leben in einer gefallenen Welt, die an allen Ecken und Enden Dinge tut, die Gott sich so nicht ausgedacht hat, deshalb erleben wir die Auswirkungen dieser gefallenen Welt – auch als Kinder Gottes, die geschützt sind durch das Blut Jesu. Eins weiß ich jedoch sicher, die Prozesse die jeder von uns durchlebt, stärken uns fester an Gott festzuhalten, sie lehren uns und selbst wenn wir uns mitten auf dem Schlachtfeld überhaupt nicht so fühlen, werden wir dadurch zum Segen für andere, die ähnliches erleben. Denke mal an einen Diamanten, der unter massivem Druck entsteht, wie schön er ist. Gott sieht den Diamanten, den Schatz in uns. Unser Leben ist eine Botschaft für die Welt. Jeder von uns verarbeitet Druck anders. Lass mich dich ermutigen, halte dich fest an Gott, ganz egal was du im Moment durchleben bzw. durchleiden musst. Vertraue SEINEM Wort. Erlaube Ihm, dich zu tragen wenn du keine Kraft mehr hast zum gehen, erlaube Ihm, dich zu halten, dich zu berühren. Schau in seine wunderschönen Augen und bitte Ihn, sich in deiner Zeit der Prüfung und des Kampfes zu verherrlichen. Er lässt dich nie los! Er ist mit dir in deinem Tränental. Du bist NICHT allein!
A while ago I was on a Family holiday with my parents and nephews (9 & 10). One day we drove up to this little chapel hidden in the mountains. It belongs to a small monastry. I had been there before and wanted to take my family there, too.
As we entered that chapel no people where there. We strolled through the aisles, looked at the paintings, I stopped in front of the Altar, facing the Altar, I closed my eyes and started singing a worship song, it didn’t take long till I could sense the sweet fragrance of the Holy Spirit filling the room, I sang another song. After a precious time of worship I turned to leave the chapel and was nearly shocked when I saw the pews filled with people listening, enjoying that short time of worship. They must have sneaked in very quietly. As I walked outside some of them nodded there had with a “Thank you” and I was just thankful having been able to spend this time of worship giving them the chance to encounter God. After all they were tourists wanting to see another sight on their list of things to see. They most probably didn’t expect to encounter God. I didn’t mean to entertain anyone, I was just filling the place with worship, allowing Father God to love on those folks. I hadn’t planned that. It just flew naturally and I just had eyes for my heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. That was so precious!
I got bolder now, worshipping in public places – our praise & worship changes the atmosphere and allows Gods Holy Spirit to come and touch people. When we start worshipping HIM heaven comes down and HE works in situations that we have no answers for, all we have to do is lift up our eyes to HIM, lift up our voices and PRAISE HIM, love on HIM and HE will do the impossible, HE will bring light in situations that seem impossible, HE will heal & restore.
Sometimes it seems too hard to praise, that’s when we speak of a “Praise Offering”, I can tell a number of stories where I just wanted to cry, hide, mourn and be depressive due to situations that where too hard to bear, BUT turning to GOD in those situations and starting to worship him has brought healing – physical & emotional, joy, new life, love, peace,….
Be encouraged, try it out. God LOVES hearing you sing HIM your love song. It doesn’t have to be well known songs, just sing whatever is in your heart, you will be amazed about the well that’s opening up inside of you. And don’t you say “I can’t sing.” YOU CAN! GOD loves to hear your voice!

Vor einer Weile war ich auf Familienurlaub mit meinen Eltern und Neffen (9&10). Eines Tages fuhren wir zu einer kleinen Kapelle, die versteckt in den Bergen gelegen ist. Sie gehört zu einem kleinen Kloster. Ich war früher schon mal da, diesmal wollte ich diesen Schatz meiner Familie zeigen.
Als wir in die Kapelle reingingen, waren wir die Einzigen. Wir spazierten durch das Kirchlein und sahen uns die Gemälde an. Ich blieb vorm Altar stehen und schaute Richtung Altar. Ich schloss meine Augen und fing an ein Anbetungslied zu singen. Es dauerte nicht lange bis ich die Gegenwart des Heiligen Geistes spüren konnte, wie sie den Raum erfüllte. Ich sang ein weiteres Lied. Nach einer kurzen, kostbaren Zeit der Anbetung wandte ich mich um, um die Kapelle wieder zu verlassen. Ich war fast geschockt als ich sah, dass sich die Kirche bis auf den letzten Platz mit Leuten gefüllt hatte, die diese kurze Zeit der Anbetung genossen. Sie mussten sich sehr leise rein geschlichen haben. Als ich die Kapelle verließ, nickten mir manche mit einem „Danke“ zu. Ich war einfach dankbar, diese Zeit der Anbetung zu haben und diesen Menschen eine Chance zu geben, Gott zu begegnen. Schließlich waren sie alle Touristen, die eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit auf ihre Listen abhaken wollten. Sicherlich erwarteten sie nicht, eine Begegnung mit Gott zu haben. Ich hatte auch nicht vor irgendjemand zu unterhalten oder eine Show abzuziehen. Ich füllte einfach den Raum mit Anbetung und erlaubte Gott diese Menschen zu lieben. Das hatte ich nicht geplant. Es floss einfach ganz natürlich. Ich hatte einfach nur Augen für meinen Vater, Jesus und den Heiligen Geist. Das war so kostbar.
Mittlerweile bin ich mutiger geworden Gott an öffentlichen Orten anzubeten – unser Lobpreis und unsere Anbetung verändern die Atmosphäre und erlauben dem Heiligen Geist zu kommen und Menschen zu berühren. Wenn wir anfangen, anzubeten, kommt der Himmel herab und ER wirkt in Situationen, für die wir keine Antworten wissen. Alles was wir tun müssen, ist unsere Augen zu IHM zu erheben, unsere Stimmen erheben und IHN ANBETEN, IHN lieben, dann wird ER das Unmögliche tun, ER bringt Licht in Situationen die unmöglich erschienen, ER heilt und stellt wieder her.
Manchmal scheint es zu hart, IHN anzubeten, dann sprechen wir von einem „Lobpreisopfer“. Ich kann eine ganze Reihe von Erfahrungen erzählen, wo ich lieber geweint, mich in einer Ecke versteckt, gejammert hätte oder mich depressiv verhalten hätte – aufgrund von Situationen wo alles zu viel war. Aber in dem ich mich in diesen Situationen Gott zu wandte und anfing IHN anzubeten, erlebte ich Heilung – körperlich und emotional, Freude, Neues Leben, Liebe, Frieden, …
Sei ermutigt, versuche es. Gott LIEBT es wenn du IHM deine Liebe in einem Lied ausdrückst. Es müssen keine wohlgeformten Worte sein, singe einfach was Dir aus dem Herzen fließt. Du wirst staunen welche Quelle sich in dir öffnet. Und sag bloß nicht „Ich kann nicht singen.“ Du kannst singen! Gott liebt es deine Stimme zu hören!

This year many of you are going to wake up and realize that you are outgrown of where you are. All of the sudden you feel like a bird locked up in a cage. You didn’t feel that way yesterday. You feel desperate to get out and fly to the place that God prepared for you. The LORD will open the door. You suddenly realize that you are prepared for more income, more responsibility, a different location, a change of address. Your clothes must be changed. Your name tag and your desk name plate also must be changed.
You’re ready? Its time! Even the devil can’t stop it, because it’s time. You are used to say “I can’t” But now all of the sudden you are raring to say “I go. I am ready.”
It looked as though things were over for you. You were sheered like Samson was sheered. You felt that your anointing was gone. But now you’ve woke up and you feel something tickling in the back of your neck. It’s a fresh growth of hair. Your anointing has returned. You thought that the Holy Spirit had bypassed you. Get ready, your most rewarding accomplishments are just around the corner, just as Samson was awaiting him.
Go ahead now and start rolling up your mat. Not an Angel is being sent to stir the pool but Jesus himself is passing by and you will receive your healing. Roll that mat up and get ready to walk. You’ve got better things to do that lay helplessly by a pool for the rest of your life. You’ve got things to do, places to go, things to say. Your healing will be both in mind and in body. You will need to be healed in your mind so that you can begin to see yourself healed in your body. Your mind has already accepted that this is the way it’s always going to be. But it’s NOT! JESUS is passing by!
This year you will forget what it feels like to cry. Your laughter will be so deep and so long that it will be like a release on the inside. That you will not believe that it was just that morning you were crying and lonely and in despair. Within 12hrs he turned your mourning into dancing.
Elijah is passing by. He’s going to throw his mantle around you while you are plowing the yoke of the oxen. You are going to burn your plows. You are going to leave your secular work. You are going to slay the oxen. You’re going to pack up. You will finally begin your odyssey in the ministry God has promised you years ago.
There is a mighty rumbling. It’s the hooves of Gods angels coming to bring freedom. Their swords are drawn and their banners are flying. Your enemies that have tormented you are getting nervous. They are losing their influence over you now and confusion has already set in. They are scattering. They are becoming like loose soil where at once they held you like concrete. Your enemies will leave bounty and spoils that you will gather from the battle. Not one shot will be fired. This is a battle the LORD himself will fight. Your enemies will scatter at the sound of the Lord of Hosts. This will be a sudden thing. Again I say this will be a sudden thing.
The investments you have made in someone very close to you will not be in vain. Those years of investment – prayers and intercession, the Lord is already at work untangling Satan’s web. That he, the devil has woven particularly over your son. The blindfold over his eyes is going to come off. He will begin to see clearly what he couldn’t see previously. He’ll see the trap that was laid for his very soul. When he’s free, he’s going to set you free. God ahead and NOW rejoice. It’s as good as done.
You will sign your name this year to papers that will unlock your future. A simple signature on these documents will be the key that will unlock many locks. It will be like a chain reaction. This document will now lead to future contracts. It’s your childhood dream.

Dieses Jahr werden viele von euch aufwachen und feststellen, dass du dem entwachsen bist, wo du bist. Plötzlich fühlst du dich wie ein Vogel, der in einem Käfig eingesperrt ist. Gestern fühltest du dich noch nicht so. Du sehnst dich danach rauszukommen und an den Ort zu fliegen, den Gott für dich vorbereitet hat. Der HERR wird die Tür öffnen. Plötzlich spürst du, dass du vorbereitet bist für mehr Einkommen, mehr Verantwortung, einen anderen Ort, eine Adressänderung. Deine Kleidung muss sich verändern. Dein Namensschild und das Schildchen auf deinem Schreibtisch muss sich verändern.
Bist du bereit? Es ist Zeit! Selbst der Teufel kann es nicht aufhalten, denn es ist Zeit. Du warst es gewohnt zu sagen, „Ich kann nicht.“ Doch jetzt bist du in den Startlöchern zu sagen, „Ich gehe. Ich bin bereit.“
Es sah so aus, als seien die Dinge für dich vorbei. Du wurdest wie Simson geschoren. Du fühltest dich, als sei deine Salbung weg. Doch jetzt bist du erwacht und du spürst wie etwas in deinem Nacken krabbelt. Neues Haar wächst. Deine Salbung ist zurück. Du fühltest dich so, als ob der Heilige Geist an dir vorübergezogen ist. Mach dich bereit, deine lohnendsten Leistungen sind um die Ecke, so wie Simson auf sie wartete.
Steh auf und rolle deine Matte zusammen. Kein Engel wird gesandt um die Wasser zu bewegen, sondern JESUS selbst geht vorüber und du wirst deine Heilung empfangen. Rolle die Matte zusammen und mach dich bereit zu laufen. Du hast besseres zu tun als hilflos an einem Pool zu legen für den Rest deines Lebens. Du musst Dinge tun, an Orte gehen und Dinge sagen. Deine Heilung wir im Verstand und im Körper sein. Du musst in deinem Verstand geheilt sein, damit du anfangen kannst, die Heilung in deinem Körper zu sehen. Dein Verstand hat es bereits so akzeptiert, dass es immer so sein wird. Aber so ist es NICHT! JESUS geht vorüber!
In diesem Jahr wirst du vergessen wie es ist zu weinen. Dein Lachen wird so tief und so lang sein, es wird wie eine Freisetzung von innen sein. Du wirst nicht glauben können, dass es noch heute Morgen war das du weintest, einsam und verzweifelt warst. Innerhalb 12 Stunden wandelte ER dein Klagelied in einen Freudentanz.
Elia geht vorüber. Er wird dir seinen Mantel überwerfen während du mit dem Joch des Ochsen pflügst. Du wirst den Pflug verbrennen. Du wirst deine säkulare Arbeit verlassen. Du wirst den Ochsen umbringen. Du wirst zusammenpacken. Du wirst endlich Odyssee im Dienst Gottes beginnen, die er dir vor Jahren verheißen hat.
Da ist ein mächtiges Donnern. Es sind die Hufen der Engel, die Freiheit bringen. Ihre Schwerter sind gezogen und ihre Banner fliegen. Deine Feinde, die dich gequält haben, werden nervös. Sie beginnen jetzt ihren Einfluss über dir zu lockern und Verwirrung hat bereits begonnen. Sie zerstreuen sich. Sie werden wie lockere Erde, wo sie dich einst wie Beton festhielten. Deine Feinde werden Prämien und Beute zurücklassen, die du vom Kampf einsammeln wirst. Nicht ein Schuss wird fallen. Das ist ein Kampf, den der HERR selbst kämpft. Deine Feinde zerstreuen sich beim Klang des Herrn der Heerscharen. Das wird plötzlich geschehen. Ich sage es noch einmal, es wird plötzlich geschehen.
Die Investitionen, die du in jemand dir sehr nahe Stehenden gemacht hast, sind nicht umsonst. Diese Jahre der Investitionen – Gebete und Fürbitte, der HERR ist bereits am Werk das Netz des Feindes zu entwirren. Welches er, der Feind, speziell über deinem Sohn gewoben hat. Die Augenbinde über seinen Augen wird abfallen. Er wird sehr deutlich sehen, was er vorher nicht sehen konnte. Er wird die Falle sehen, die für seine Seele ausgelegt war. Wenn er frei ist, wird er dich auch freisetzen. Geh voran und FREUE dich. Es ist so gut wie erledigt.
Dieses Jahr wirst du deinen Namen auf Papiere setzen die deine Zukunft öffnen werden. Eine einfache Unterschrift auf diesen Dokumenten wird der Schlüssel zum öffnen vieler weiterer Schlösser sein. Es ist dein Kindheitstraum.
The other day, just after Christmas, my 9 years old nephew came running to me, hugged me and said „ Auntie Corrie, do you wanna know my two biggest birthday wishes?” I replied, “Well, tell me!” (Which he would anyways ;-)) and then he proceeded to tell me his two biggest wishes. My first reaction was “Gosh, I will have to win the lottery to fulfill them.” And then I thought about a Bible verse from Matthew 7:7-8
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
And from James 4:2
“You do not have because you do not ask.”
Right in that moment when my nephew shared his list with me, God spoke those verses to me, and I realized, yes, we are children of an almighty Father who is not bound to our earthly limits – our God is limitless, He is in the Glory Realm, there are no limitations. So this is my challenge now, to ask with childlike faith, to believe for the things HE promised. To see how HE opens doors that no man can shut, to see how he blesses me with things from HIS overflow, way bigger than I could possibly think of with my limited imagination.
Of course He will only give things to us that He intended for us, but they are far better then things we think about. So I challenge you, too – step out, dare to dream, dare to ask for the Impossible, dare to see those things happen right before your eyes. Our God is a GREAT BIG GOD! And NOTHING is impossible for Him! All it takes is childlike faith! <><
Kurz nach Weihnachten kam mein 9-jähriger Neffe eines Morgens auf mich zugerannt, umarmte mich und sagte dann, “Tante Corrie, willst du meine 2 größten Geburtstagswünsche wissen?” Ich sagte, „Na klar!“ (Er hätte sie mir eh verraten J) und dann erzählte er mir von seinen 2 größten Wünschen. Meine erste Reaktion war, „Au weia, da muss ich ja im Lotto gewinnen um sie zu erfüllen.“ Und dann schoss mir Matthäus 7,7-8 durch den Kopf
„Bittet, so wird euch gegeben; sucht, so werdet ihr finden; klopft an, so wird euch aufgetan! Denn jeder, der bittet, empfängt; und wer sucht, der findet; und wer anklopft, dem wird aufgetan.“
Und aus Jakobus 4:2
„…doch ihr habt es nicht, weil ihr nicht bittet.“
In dem Moment als mein Neffe mir seine Wunschliste offenbarte, sprach Gott diese Verse in mein Herz und ich bemerkte, ja, wir sind Kinder des allmächtigen Gottes, der an keine irdischen Begrenzungen gebunden ist – unser Gott ist grenzenlos, Er ist in der Herrlichkeit wo es keine Begrenzungen gibt. Ich stelle mich nun dieser Herausforderung, mit kindlichem Glauben zu bitten, für die Dinge zu glauben, die Er verheißen hat. Zu sehen, wie sich Türen öffnen, die kein Mensch verschließen kann, zu sehen, wie Er mich segnet mit den Dingen aus Seinem Überfluss – weit mehr als ich es mir jemals erdenken oder erträumen könnte mit meiner begrenzten Vorstellungskraft.
Natürlich gibt Er uns nur Dinge, die Er für uns gedacht hat, aber das ist viel besser als alles was wir uns erdenken können. Ich fordere dich ebenso heraus – wag den Sprung, fang an zu träumen, fang an um das Unmögliche zu bitten, fang an zu sehen, wie diese Dinge vor deinen Augen geschehen. Unser Gott ist ein GROSSER Gott und NICHTS ist Ihm unmöglich. Alles was es braucht ist kindlicher Glaube. <><
A couple years ago I was in the States and got introduced to the Native American Culture. I was fascinated by the symbolism and how so many things are SO prophetic. We went to a Native church – it was loud, it was fun and such a great experience.
While driving through the streets one day I saw a Sign of a Town called “Broken Arrow”. Since I now knew that everything had a meaning I asked what that stands for – I was told “Broken Arrow” means “Broken Trust”. For some reason that pierced my heart, a city called after the pain of a broken commitment, living under that “curse”. God spoke to me, how often we experience that in our lives that our Trust is broken. We trust someone with all our hearts and then they betray us and break their commitment, their promise.
Hebrews 10:35 says:
“Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.” (New American Standard)
It’s our choice to forgive those who broke our trust, but if we choose to do that, not only they are free of our judgement but also we are free of bitterness and hurt and can ask God to help us trust again and not keep stepping back into that old “broken arrow” pain – we are free to step out into new ways of trust. Its not happening in seconds that we are free of deep wounds and pain that were done against us. But as little children of our amazing Father we can come to Him, bring HIM our pain and sorrow and HE is so happy to heal our wounded hearts, to not only fix that broken arrow again, but give us a whole new set of arrows that are way better than the old set we had. He gives us His best. He loves us and loves to bless us with His best. The heavenly store houses are full of blessings for us and we better get ‘em! I want that best set of arrows that shoots way better than any I ever had before. Come along and get what belongs to you – healing, freedom, love, peace, joy,…and SO much more!
Vor einigen Jahren war ich in Amerika und lernte die indianische Kultur etwas kennen. Ich war fasziniert über die Symbolik, so vieles darin ist SO prophetisch. Wir besuchten eine indianische Gemeinde – es war laut, fröhlich und ein tolles Erlebnis.
Während wir eines Tages durch die Straßen fuhren, sah ich ein Straßenschild für eine Stadt namens „Zerbrochener Pfeil“. Da ich nun wusste, dass alles eine Bedeutung hat, fragte ich nach, was dies bedeutete – mir wurde erklärt, dass „Zerbrochener Pfeil“ für „Gebrochenes Vertrauen“ steht. Das traf mich mitten ins Herz, eine Stadt, die nach dem Schmerz eines zerbrochenen Versprechens benannt wurde und unter diesem „Fluch“ lebt. Gott sprach zu mir – wie oft erleben wir es in unserem Leben, dass unser Vertrauen missbraucht bzw. verletzt wird. Wir vertrauen jemand von ganzem Herz und dann wird unser Vertrauen gebrochen, sie brechen ihr Versprechen und verletzten uns.
Hebräer 10:35 sagt:
„Werft nun euer Vertrauen nicht weg! Es wird sich erfüllen, worauf ihr hofft.“ (Hoffnung für alle)
Es ist unsere Entscheidung denen zu vergeben, die unser Vertrauen missbraucht haben, wir befreien nicht nur sie von unserem Urteil sondern auch wir sind dann frei von Bitterkeit und Schmerz und können Gott bitten uns zu helfen, wieder zu vertrauen, um nicht wieder zurück in den „zerbrochenen Pfeil“ Schmerz zu rutschen – wir sind frei neue Pfade des Vertrauens zu betreten. Das passiert nicht in Sekunden, dass wir völlig frei sind von tiefen Wunden und Verletzungen, die uns zugefügt wurden. Aber als Kinder unseres wunderbaren Vaters dürfen wir zu Ihm kommen, dürfen IHM unseren Schmerz bringen. Er freut sich darüber wenn Er unser verwundetes Herz heilen kann, er repariert nicht nur den kaputten Pfeil, sondern Er gibt uns einen ganzen neuen Satz Pfeile, die viel besser sind als die Alten. Er gibt uns Sein Bestes. Er liebt uns und Er liebt es, uns mit Seinem Besten zu segnen. Die himmlischen Lagerhäuser sind voll mit Segnungen für uns und wir holen sie uns besser ab! Ich möchte den besten Satz Pfeile haben, die viel besser treffen als die, die ich vorher hatte. Komm mit und hol dir ab was dir gehört – Heilung, Freiheit, Liebe, Frieden, Freude …und SO viel mehr!
